Favorite Michael Moments, Part 1

Because this is my blog and I can do what I want with it, I shall now overload you with posts of some of my favorite Michael Jackson moments. Deal with it! I'm trying to mourn here.

First up is "Say Say Say" with Paul McCartney. Everyone knows that Paul and Michael were great friends until Michael outbid Paul for the Beatles catalog (which I'm told has now been left to Paul). They recorded two songs together that I know of--"The Girl is Mine" from Thriller (sorry Brandy and Monica, you're not as original as you might have thought), and "Say Say Say" which was produced by George Martin for McCartney's 1983 album Pipes of Peace. I bought Paul's greatest hits album All the Best specifically for this one song, and ended up loving more of Paul's solo work than I had ever wanted to.

The music video is great fun: Mac and Jack are two traveling con-artists who (with the help of Linda) give money to orphans and put on vaudeville shows. Unfortunately I'm fairly certain that Michael's love interest here may or may not be his sister LaToya, which is creepy, but pretty nice of him.
