#312: Rock Steady by No Doubt

Rock Steady by No Doubt (2001)

Favorite Track(s): "Hella Good" and "Hey Baby" and "Underneath It All"

Thoughts: Aww, I remember when this album came out! So good. I mean, I didn't buy it, but I heard it often in my daily doses of MTV and Z100. I don't think we've seen No Doubt since we listened to Tragic Kingdom, which was fantastic.

This album is very fun, and has funky beats, but come on. 312? I don't think so. There weren't necessarily a bunch of throw-away songs, but it was just fun and groovy. And nothing's wrong with that--I just don't see why it's better than so many mind-blowingly incredible albums we've heard so far. Is it the Prince collaboration on "Waiting Room"?

I want this album on in the background of a party, not as a desert island disc, you know?

Is This Better Than Help!?: Nope. Sorry!
