Part 15 in a 25 Part Series: Maryann's Christmas Things

12.20.2012

Christmas cookies!

I never make cookies by myself (I usually just make dough and eat that--salmonella be damned!), but this year I had a sugar cookie at a party and wanted to make some for myself.  I bought a mix (come on, it's me), frosting, and sprinkles, only to get home with them and realize I had no Christmas cookie cutters!  So I popped out and found a star, angel, and tree at my local drugstore.

Here's the 'making-of':

And here's how they turned out!

And the greatest travesty of all: I only had about a glass' worth of milk left in my fridge. If you know me, you know I can go through a gallon of milk in 3 or 4 days EASY. And I absolutely require it in all chocolate and/or cookie situations. Except I oddly don't care for milk in my Hot Cocoa. I grew up with water, and to this day it's still what I prefer.
